15 October 2014, Vientiane: Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) announces the official launch of Sacombank cards in Laos which includes Sacombank Lao local debit card, Sacombank Lao Visa debit card and Sacombank Lao Visa credit card in order to provide another modern, secured and convenient payment method for its customers.

With Sacombank Lao local debit card, cardholders can check their account balance and withdraw cash at more than 800 Sacombank ATMs in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia; purchasing via more than 3,000 POS of Sacombank in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia; participating in Sacombank Plus, Plus Day promotion programs with special discounts up to 50% at many shopping spots, dining venues and service points.

Sacombank Lao Visa debit cards are accepted globally with many benefits such as purchasing goods and services at merchants worldwide and via the Internet; cash withdrawing at any local and overseas ATMs; enjoying many incentives from Visa as well as Sacombank Plus, Plus Day promotion programs with discounts up to 50% at many shopping spots, dining venues and service points; earning interest on the average account balance.

Sacombank Laos Visa credit card allows customers to purchase first and pay later with interest-free period up to 45 days. Cardholders can make payments or withdraw cash from any ATM all around the world; shopping online; participating in Sacombank Plus, Plus Day promotion programs with special discounts up to 50% at many shopping spots, dining venues and service points and so on.

From 15 October 2014 to 31 December 2014, customers can get issuing fee waived and 50% off annual fee of the first year for new card registration.
